What is Meditation?
Ahh meditation. Just what is it? Here is a simple explanation for something that is simple and powerful. Meditation is mental fitness. It is important to strengthen the quality of mind. Where the mind resides, that creates our life. Here is Bryan Kest explaining about meditation.
I choose to meditate because it brings me to a state of calm. It has allowed me to control my thoughts instead of the thoughts controlling me.
Meditation does not take a lot of time, it does need consistency, though. I like to meditate after my going through the poses in my yoga practice. When I get to the end of yoga class, my mind and body are perfectly prepared to sit in meditation. This helps to create a sense of calm throughout my day.
